The X-eXternal mount latch is a key lockable, double-sided latch that perfectly secures your gate and enclosed fenced perimeter. It is made from a high-quality, heavy-duty, durable nylon polymer. The X-eXternal can be mounted to fit both left and right-handed gates, making it suitable to fit all your needs. It can be locked from both sides, but locking the outside button does not prevent the inside gravity latch from working.

Installation of the X-eXternal is easy with its premarked measuring in 1/2" increments, making for a quick and accurate fitting to the fence post. It fits fence posts sized 2" - 5". There is no need to drill for the spindle holes, and the stainless steel spindle can be easily cut to the size post used in your application. The spindle ends are enclosed in the flat mount, making it safe from the elements and preventing rust. The thumb latch on the bottom is protected from harsh weather, making this latch a long-lasting option to keep your perimeter secure.
